Callaway Tour i Golf Balls
Callaway Tour i golf balls were introduced in 2010 by Callaway. The Tour i golf ball uses the "Hex" dimple pattern which has been used for many years and is often attributed to helping the balls flight pattern in windy conditions.
The Tour i was created and re-created as the i(z), i(s) and i(x). The i(z) is a mid to low launch ball, a longer flying ball then the i(x) with longer and straighter shots. The i(x) feels softer with the putter, which was an improvement over the previous model and the i(s) is a real soft spinner with higher launch trajectory. Overall, more spin in the i(s) and more distance in the i(z).
Overall, this model is hard to find and perfect for the player who finds their favorite ball and sticks with it. The "Tour i" series is no longer being made but you can still find this old favorite with us at golfballs.net.
